Constructs custom immobilization devices and complex blocks for treatment planning

Training and Education



Graduate of a CAHEA approved School of Radiation Therapy technology or registry
eligible
Board Certified Registered Radiation Therapist (R) with current state licensure as well as
be certified in Radiation Therapy T(ARRT) through the American Registry of Radiologic
Technologists required
BLS Healthcare Provider
Experience
1-3 years of experience required.
Physical Requirements




Ability to perform duties while walking, standing, stooping, reaching and lifting.
Ability to lift materials weighing up to 35 lbs.
Ability to push/pull over 100 lbs.
Requires Safe Operating Procedure for x-ray generating equipment.
Working Conditions



Hospital setting with exposure to patients, both inpatient and outptaint
Potential exposure to bodily fluids
Potential exposure to hazardous materials including: Ionizing radiation, Cerrobend, and
